Unakite is a metamorphic rock that is formed from hydrothermal activity containing pink orthoclase feldspar, green epidote, and a bit of quartz giving this stone its unique mottled green and pink coloration and appearance. This make-up of minerals makes Unakite essentially a type of granite with a Moh's Hardness Rating of 6. Metaphysically speaking, Unakite is a stone that is believed to help with healing the emotional body and promoting both spiritual and psychological growth. Unakite has been associated with being able to bring to light issues of both the past and past lives that may be creating blockages in one's growth and integrating the lessons created by those situations to help with relieving the blockages to help one to grow both spiritually and mentally. Given this association with helping to recover and heal all these aspects, Unakite has been associated with stimulating and balancing both the Heart and Third Eye Chakras.
